Good to know

Will it fit my car's vents?+

The Hook Mount suits horizontal vent slats with some space behind them, because the hook reaches behind the slat and locks with a knob. For thin, rounded or vertical blades, the Clip Mount is the better fit. Our hook or clip guide has a quick test.

Will it work with my phone and case?+

iPhone 12 and later with MagSafe attach directly. Other phones, including Android and the iPhone 16e and SE, use the round metal ring in the box. With a case, use a MagSafe case or stick the ring on the outside of the case. Keep the ring away from the camera.

How long does delivery take?+

Royal Mail to UK addresses, dispatched within one working day and usually 2 to 4 working days in transit. Delivery is £3.50, free on orders over £15.00.

Is there a guarantee, and can I return it?+

Yes. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee: return it unused in the original box within 30 days, with a free return label, and we refund you within 14 days of receiving it. If anything is faulty, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply. See delivery and returns.

Is a phone holder legal in the UK?+

Yes, used hands-free: you must not hold the phone while driving, and it must not block your view of the road. See phone holders and the law.

Great product, 5* service.

Disappointing
Well finished and good quality, easy to assemble, but the tightening isn't practical and the lock isn't ideal on the depth of the vent blade. There is slight play and the phone visibly moves over bumps. The magnet works, but less well than other models I've tested.

Good quality but not suited to my Clio 2
Good quality, but the rod doesn't fit between the fins of my Clio 2. I managed to fix it carefully, but it was very hard to remove. Good for thicker, more widely spaced vents.

Not usable
On my Samsung with a case, the round counter-magnet sits at a distance and loses holding force, so the phone fell off while driving. The hook's hold in the vent also didn't last, even though my vents are suitable.

Disappointed
Nicely presented and well built. The hook fixing on the vent works very well and doesn't move. But only the outer ring of the holder is magnetic, like MagSafe, so with the round metal plate on my case the phone comes off too easily.

Fits nice and holds the phone strong, great value for money.

Decent car air vent mount
Strong enough to hold a non-MagSafe phone with a metal plate under its case, and a metal ring is supplied. There is no alignment tool, so you need to eyeball it. Turning the dial pulls the hook behind the vent flap. I like how secure this feels once in place. After a week of use there is nothing to complain about. Check your air vent is compatible first.

Pretty good magnetic attraction. It is NOT a suction device
It works by a magnet in the round mount. It did not work on my phone through the case, so I stuck the metal ring onto the case, and that works. Getting the plastic film off both sides of the ring takes patience.
